Weddings Fairs and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

21 October 2016 by Dominic Holmes

Greetings everyone! It’s been nearly 2 months since I did my first wedding fair at Hemswell Court back in September, and 5 more wedding fairs later I am finished for the year. I am pleased to say that it’s been a very positive experience, and I’m really pleased that I did it. My dedicated sales team (Mike & Ruth Holmes and Amanda Batham) have done a great job of distributing my flyers, and I’m pleased to say that they’ve given out 250 leaflets to potential clients. Great job, team! I’ve also generated lots of positive interest from many of the venues that I played at as well.

However, as one thing ends another begins, and next week sees the start of 2 solid weeks of musicals, starting with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on the 26th of October, with Grease popping up in the middle of it all on the 1st and 2nd of November. It’s going to be maddness, but it’s also going to be a lot of fun! For anyone interested in purchasing tickets there are links on my website, just click here for all the great big stuff you could possibly want…

I am also in the research stages of something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time: an article about the difference between great bass players and influential bass players. Brace for long winded explanations, over-analysis and controversial opinions. In the meantime though, here’s something completely different…

Hope all is well,
